    the cracker family circus is doing a tri-city tour this weekend, davis on friday, sacramento on saturday, and woodland on sunday. suzie's is on the list of places we're playing on saturday. we'll have tour t-shirts fresh off the screen. bring your dancing shoes.

    get there as early as you can (6am or so). drink until you can barely ride, ride around with 700 or so people around downtown, track down the beer bike and then drink until going home sounds like a good idea. at least that's the way i remember last year. after this last year at the sac bike...

    i'll be driving the "circus train" for the "brickhouse traveling bicycle circus" on second saturday, maybe both rides can meet somewhere? we are going to have fire dancers and music, and the world famous drum bike as seen on youtube.

    i have one of the ev global e-bikes designed by lee iacocca, and it's pulsed dc power. the controller pulses the voltage to limit the current. it makes the bike take off smoother, instead of spinning out. electric motors have instant torque and need an artificial "power curve". the ac motor idea...
