I thought karfer had told me about a turkey day ride in SAc, but now I can't remember. Anyone got any details?

there is the turkeyday ride on thanksgiving...tried to find out about the details last weekend but karfer wasnt at work.
if i can find his # ill get the details and post them(im gonna be able to make this one i think!) or they might have posted the info on colleges site...*just checked and its not listed  *

The foks from the Davis Bike Church (RIP?) tell me that it is pretty massive. I am hoping our crew gets to join in as well, but this is the only info ive found so far.

We may end up screening some adult themed bike movies in conjunction. For mature audinces only. Children, and puritans stay home please.

yes the ride is on and it will meet at the towe car museum around 9 to 10 am. i like to get there early and get a good parking spot and watch everyone else roll in. oh that and i start to drinking earlier hehe. anyone wanting info can pm me or call the shop.

so is it a ride? approximate route or length of ride in time or distance? Trying to scheduled the regular family activities around it.

get there as early as you can (6am or so). drink until you can barely ride, ride around with 700 or so people around downtown, track down the beer bike and then drink until going home sounds like a good idea. at least that's the way i remember last year. after this last year at the sac bike kitchen, and the start of the oak park bike kitchen, i think i need another day like that. check out the oak park bike kitchen's new website http://www.oakparkbikekitchen.org. sorry i don't post more often, i mostly just come on here to check out the pics of all these beautiful bikes. see ya on turkeyday.

karfer called and said my new old ride got a new front end and is ready to go. Gotta pick it up and do some finsihing work and plan on riding it over for the ride.

Gooday everyone,

Not looking very promising for tomarows ride ..... Raining & grey , gloomy here currently. Will there B a make up day if it rains ??

4 me it was a good / bad thing. as much as I wanted to go , kinda had to go with the reality side of things.

Looks like tomarow I will be playing the role of " Chef Tell ... Gormet Thanksgiving day Cook ". Let's hope we don't lose any Digits during the production.

Here's the deal ....

Will be cooking for my inlaws .... the youngest of wich is 80 years young, & me lovely wife, Carol .
Carol is on the mend currently with a Broken Elbow SOOOOO .... I will be taling a few " Chill Pills" and taking directions from the girls for at least 8 hours tomarow. I'm scared LOL.

If it goes off, everyone ride safe , have a great time, have a saftey meeting 4 me LOL , & everyone remember to SMILE... it's suppose to be fun yano.

Me Kid's / Bicycles will keep 4 another day.

Well gota go .... pies are done .

HAPPY THANKSGIVING EVERYONE ! ... Eat , Drink & Be Merry ... Be thankfull everyone 4 what ya still have.

missed your post yesterday.

I showed up around 8:45 and stuck around for a couple hours, had to start cooking. It was a huge group with a lot of cool bikes from across the spectrum. Custom built tandem old skool cruiser, drum bike, fixies, old balloon bikes, cool trikes, you name it. Plus two bottles of cider made me quite happy
