    Widest tire on Worksman

Slowly collecting parts for an INB frame I bought from Chuck...and am wondering whats the biggest tire anyone has put on a Worksman. Seems like the Fat Franks are the way to go. Any other choices out there?

    fiberglass tank

@ g-ratter, do you mean resin, followed by three layers of cloth then resin over? more updates...so I got impatient, or maybe it was the fumes, and while they were drying I hit them (a little)with the heat gun. This is after cutting off the excess with a dremel...looks like the foam started...

    fiberglass tank

Forgot to mention I used bondo brand resin/cloth and followed the directions for the hardener/resin mix. Working time was about ten minutes just like the instructions say. I used a small paintbrush to lay the resin on and work the cloth into the corners. Have a few of those handy 'cause if...

    fiberglass tank

Been wanting a tank for my daily rider and wanted to try fiberglass. I've never worked with fiberglass before so I did some research and this is how I'm doing it. First pics of my rider... Found sheets of "hobby foam" at home depot and traced an outline of the tank shapes Cut them out with...

    Fiberglass Tank Questions

@ Luke, thanks, I had already checked that out...waiting to see how he's gonna go about it. His is definitely more involved than mine. I just need two halves and don't really care if the foam stays inside. @ two spot I hope your right, as I keep getting different answers about the foam...

    Fiberglass Tank Questions

I've recently started carving a tank from a thick piece of insulation. I was hoping to make a "mold" out of it and fiberglass over it. After some research, (youtube has a bunch of info), I found out the fiberglass will melt the foam insulation. I've never worked with fiberglass before and am...

This is looking good! Waiting to see more updates on the tank...as I've slowly been carving a tank out of insulation myself.

Do I have an S-5 rim?

My Spyder's wheels are the same as yours...rear is normal 24" tire. Front is that odd sized 24"?

1941 OCC Schwinn DX Hybrid "Generation Gap"

That came out REALLY nice! I bought two of those OCC's at a yard sale for my kids...they're about to outgrow them. So I'll be stripping them for parts...what did you have to do to get the forks to fit? I looked at them and there is some type of clamp that holds the top piece to the neck piece...?

    SPECIAL SPYDER?

FINALLY! I get to see a picture of what mine is supposed to look like. Wasn't sure how much was original...now I see its all original, what I have anyway. Here is a picture the seller sent me, its got the wrong wheels on it. I got it without the bars and a broken seat. Anyone know what year...

    62 Typhoon

Thanks! Yeah, I already have a set of wheels for it, not S-2's though, just can't decide on tires. I noticed on my ride, the front end seemed a little "squirrely"? Didn't notice it in person but now that I look at the pic...is that fork bent a little? or is it me?

    Who would have thought

3 for one...I've got a glass cooktop! Details on the headlights please...wife's van needs it and I'd rather get the three-for! :D

    62 Typhoon

Found this on NY C'List, listed as a frame and fork but the picture showed the wheels and fenders in the background, and was missing the seat and pedals. Setup a meeting with the seller while I was working (saved on gas and tolls), struck up a deal and took it home. Couldn't resist wanting to...
