1975 Kawasaki BX-200 Any Value ??

Awesome looking bike, but not the fastest for racing ; ) To answer your question: I'd think you could get $400-600 for it, depending where you live and if you're willing to wait for the right buyer.

    Mach Uno

My first build off is in the works! I've decided to use this frame (serial # C85828) that is badged Hiawatha. I'm not sure what the wheel combo will look like yet, but I have the back setup for a Bendix 2 spd kickback hub (red band). I plan to add a tank, give it a fresh paint, and build the...

    Bike ID Help

Great bike to make your own! I dig the lines of the frames top bar. Would look pretty rad with an old school banana seat and some ape hanger bars. Welcome to the group!

    1950's Hawthorne Tank Bike?

Thanks everyone for the input! I need to take a closer look at the rack, it has the setup for the turn signals, but has no wiring going back to them. Might be something I need to find parts for. The tank takes a 6volt battery. I'd love to get this thing riding again with the horn and light!

    1950's Hawthorne Tank Bike?

I'm guessing it's a mid 1950's Hawthorne, but I don't have much beyond that... The light and turn signal are branded Delta. Few Q's 1. Can someone help identify the model? 2. What parts are incorrect / not original to the bike? 3. Any idea on a fair price for value? Thanks in advance!

    HELP! What is it?

Picked up this bike today, but not really sure what it is or potential year. Any help would be appreciated. Badge reads Wards Hawthorne - Montgomery Ward. I think the serial # D72632 (the D might be a 5... Kind of hard to tell). Thanks! '] '] '] ']

    Value?

I’m trying to buy a bike from a guy, but he wants to sell this one as part of the “package”. Anyway, he wants me to make a fair offer, however I have no idea on the value of this bike. Hiawatha Jet… has a Spaceliner look to it, from the 60’s (I’m guessing), with taillights, & in very good...

    need some help here!

Sweet bike, always liked the look of the wingbar Silverking frames. Agree, original build out could be expensive. However, the bikes are of value. Custom build would look very neat as well.

What do you think about this trade?

I think the opinions have been well spoken here. I'd personally do the trade : ) Doing the trade would be of a greater financial value in my opinion. However, you have to keep in mind what you are looking to do w/ the bike - ie: resell profit, restore, ride as is, etc... If you want to make it...

    Western Flyer's "Cosmic Flyer"

Unless you really need money keep it! Oh and ride it or hang it somewhere cool to remind you of the history. I sold my dads Schwinn Stingray... Regret it. You can never get that "exact" childhood memory back once it's gone.

    another trash find

Nice find! Hunk it would look amazing with that paint job you mentioned. Maybe throw a older looking seat on it if you happen to come across one cheap. Cheers! Andy
