    The only thing I have to throw in to the build-off is this lil Hiawatha Gambler (I am not positive that is what it actually is so please correct me if I am wrong) frame. That chain ring is also just something off a kids bike in the junk pile that is my garage...I will try to spruce this thing...

    Finally got one of my projects on the road....wow was it hard to pedal! I have a very large front chain ring. Can someone tell me the basics. Obviously I need a smaller one in front. How do I figure that out?

    bending the front forks?

    Has anyone taken standard vintage schwinn forks and bent them out for a bit of a stretched look? It is my latest idea but don't want to try it without being certain it will work. Do I need to heat them up with a torch then pull them out? thanks!

    can I add a suspension front end to this?

    Can I add a modern triple tree style suspension front end to this 1954 JC Higgins? What are the variables? Can anyone point me in the right direction? I am hoping to give it a motorcycle look.

    coker 2.125 red tire for my 1950 Schwinn?

    I bought a pair of these red coker tires 26 x 2.125 thinking they would fit my 1950 Schwinn 26" springer bike. The guy at my local bike shop says no, they won't fit! I haven't unpackaged the tires yet. Can anyone tell me if this will work? Appreciated!!!
