What's the most common type of bike you see in your area?

Minneapolis has a large number of fixed gear/single speed road bikes around.

Great Bike! I love it. Just a couple questions, if you don't mind me asking... What tires are those? And how wide are they?

You could just try flipping the stem around...that might gain the couple inches you're looking for

    Bratzlist

Is the front fender on backwards? Or would that not make a difference? It just looks kinda "off" tome...like it's too far forward or something.

My sweet, free new BMX find...

A friend of mine had that exact bike when we were kids. I would have to say the blue/gumwall would be the way to go. Also, the front tire was what I remember being on that bike...the snake belly tread. I always liked those tires:)

    yesterdays flea makrket score

Neat bike....interesting angles. It looks really long (might just be the angle of the photo), specifically the head tube distance from the seat tube.

    Dead Goose

You'd be suprised...shipping might not be that bad. Have a bike shop pack it up & send it via Greyhound.

    I want it...Should i want it?

I come from a mountain biking backround, even though I don't ride on mountains at all. In my stable, I have a 21 spd Cannondale (aluminum frame w/ front suspension circa '96), a 21 spd Gary Fisher CR-7 (aluminum front triangle w/ cro-mo rear bolted to it circa '93), & a Surly 1x1 (single speed...

    Greetings from Minneapolis!

Hey Everybody, Found this site quite by accident a couple weeks ago...actually don't recall how I stumbled onto it, but I keep checking it. As of right now, I don't really have a "rat rod" per se, but after seeing pics of all the creativity here I have been inpired to modify a 2006 Schwinn...
