Yeah, doesn't that suck. I'm notorious for buying stuff right before the price drops. I think there's a song about that.

The comments in this thread from the MTBR forum are pretty funny.

"Best thing to happen for the homeless/DUI population of Anchorage in a long time. "

Here is great piece of info from the MTBR

"I'm actually on the phone trying to get specs and frame sizes. They have 18" frame, it is a steel frame not aluminum as advertised on walmarts site. The hubs are 70MMX210MM, and you can call 800-626-2811 to order tires and tubes. The tires are 26X4-1/4 and 32 bucks each, the tubes are 9 bucks. "
"When I called Mongoose for the info I posted earlier the lady said the headtube was 1 1/8" so any fork should do if you change the stem and go threadless"

Walmart says that it's aluminum, but this article says steel.

Since it looks like you have to order one to actually see one, hopefully you will provide a review and critique of the bike and components. Ship to store or home is what saw on the Wally World web site. I noticed they list a 250# weight limit.

The frame might be steel after all, even if Wally does say aluminum, which means cut and weld time!

They say that my Walgoose will be at the store around Mar28-Apr3.

I think the Spider tread tires are right under the Flame pattern. I guess the only one that
its worse is the Hello Kitty ones.

What about the hawian flower print Electra's ... Im glad I never had a favorite "girls" tire

If I bought one it would be for the wheels :)

I guess someone will need to do an "Every Which Way But Loose" theme build.

Yeah......those spider tires will have to go.
Fortunately, the good folks at Surley have a few options.

With all the money saved over buying the Sun version, the cost of the tires doesn't hurt, as much. :D
