Spotted this at a flea market this morning. :)

I asked to move it away from some other stuff to take the picture and was suprized that it is not as heavy as it looks!
The perfect form to build your next mold for a front end version of the Convertible Tank Top.

First flea market visit since early March. I’d seen this roadrunner there previously. Booth was having a sale so I hauled it home. Thinking it has fender or hood potential.

Sculpted from Ironwood and about the color of rust.

Test fitting...two holes and a screw could make for a done deal.

I like the roadrunner on there. But you need to also mount this behind it.

Thanks but no thanks! It is a nice little piece of art though.

Yeah, just kidding around :D , but I seriously like the ironwood roadrunner on there. At least in the close up shots if looks like it fits the flow well.

Added new pedals and mounted the roadrunner “hood ornament” this morning. I predrilled the hole in roadrunner base and pre-fit the screw to make the mounting easier. Also cut a rubber baseplate and used it to locate the hood hole. I had to prop up the front on a bench to get my arm up inside to get the screw seated.

I like that a lot!

I don't know how many hours I spent behind one of the David Bradley's as a kid. When the garden was low/young we could use it instead of the hoe and our hands to weed the corn/potatoes/carrots etc. We had discs, spring-tooth, as well as the furrow attachments.

Cool Build. Coming along great. That road runner fits in well.

I ordered a wider rear tire for the bike through eBay. Bad decision.
It was suppose to arrive today. It was listed as being shipped 6-6-2020. No Valid tracking available, USPS said the tracking number was invalid. After 5 messages to seller bike shop they finally admitted that the tire was in transit to them, I’m assuming from J&B or other wholesaler. So they didn’t have it in stock as advertised and now I wait more days for them to get the tire and then wait on their shipping.
If they would have been honest up front instead of providing double talk and film flam, I would be more understanding. I’m ready with negative feedback if I ever get the tire. I guess I also need to review seller feedback prior to pushing the buy it now button.
Another reason to buy local. Assuming I could have went to a LBS had them order it from J&B and I might have the tire by now, maybe even cheaper.

I’ve been waiting on the tire before I take rear wheel off to clean up the rim and service the hub...ticked.

Stripped the green chainguard today. Went through my parts and found a smaller chainring, should make pedaling a bit easier. I need to service bottom bracket anyway.

Looks like I’ve tried to sell the chainring, no takers though.

Comment from eBay tire seller.

“With any luck you will see the tire within the week and within 3-4 days of the original delivery estimate!”

With any luck...
