Wow, wow, wow, ubercool!

When the time comes to post it in the finished bikes section, a static photograph wouldn't do this bike justice,
there has to be a movie!
at least 15 min. to show off all the tech and action this bike is capable of.

will ya settle for a hole in my backyard, tombstones, creatures of the night, fog machines and gel lighting?
and if that don't do it for you the super sexy elvira sure will.

video editing is not my forte. but if i can get some help, i'd really like to edit a vid
to something like the extended version of ****** built my hotrod (censored of course)

(edit. ha ha ha thats too funny, never realized you couldn't say ****** on the forum.lol)

and here i am giving away all my secerts. your lucky i like you guys.

I could edit a video for you no problem...send me the footage via e-mail.
Song track too...

i'm sure i can dig up a camcorder somewhere.

Re: skull-o sis (bust'n out the girly skills. :) )

Sounds good...Just send it digital with what you get and I can make it work.
Vampira by the misfits would be a fitting track ???????

I dig the skull and crossbone shoot. Cant wait to see you flying down the quarter mile, and then the shoot open up. LOL. Good luck

Re: skull-o sis (bust'n out the girly skills. :) )

forgot to show you my chute deployment system.

a big chunk o foam (actually high density fiber foam)

PICT0016.jpg

the block fills the entire chute pouch. (compress the foam)

pack in the chute
PICT0011.jpg

pull the cord (attached to cotter pin) and bam!
PICT0014.jpg

chute pops out. (hopefully enough to catch the wind.

again sorry bout the crappy pic's, i'll see what i can do about a new camera battery this weekend.

Re: skull-o sis (bust'n out the girly skills. :) )

threw in an extra 1" of foam. wind will catch it for sure. :)

Re: skull-o sis (bust'n out the girly skills. :) )

Thats just Perfect! Cool

Re: skull-o sis (bust'n out the girly skills. :) )

thx guys, today i'm gonna wire up the skull lighting and add the toggle switch to my dash.

i also have to figure out a system for pulling the chute rip cord.
originally i was planning on keeping the chute pouch closed with a small fire cracker
and looped piece of string. a couple aligator clips wired to a 9volt/toggle switch on the dash
and a pack of model rocket ignitors.

flip the switch, ignitor sparks the firecracker and boom! out pops the shoot!
the pouch is heavy canvas, but i'm a little concerned i'm just gonna light things on fire. :)

Re: skull-o sis (bust'n out the girly skills. :) )

i say you rig up a chain system to tug on under the seat. lookin good man! that chute looks pretty legit!

ain't no room for nothing under the seat. :)

Re: skull-o sis (bust'n out the girly skills. :) )

darn, thats right. well put it next to it then!

Re: skull-o sis (bust'n out the girly skills. :) )

I love the fire cracker idea. You could use some flame redardant spray on the cloth and the chute.

In fact for health and safety reasons should the chute not be flame proofed anyway? For those epic burnouts! :)

Re: skull-o sis (bust'n out the girly skills. :) )

chute lever works like a charm!

skullosis034.jpg

shot a quick vid for ya, but its high speed action and the cam has a hard
time catching it. just don't blink. :)

found a few more items for the build in my basement collection including a shorter raleigh sprocket/crank.
skullosis039.jpg

only problem is, i can't find the other arm.

i could really do with the extra 1" of ground clearance, so i'm a hoping i can find the other crank arm.

i've been looking forward to this day for some time. now that i have majority of the wheelie bar stuff figured
out, it's time to paint em.

got the day off, krylon dries fast, so that means today i'm gonna drag some paint. horror style. :)
