Here's mine in 360 degrees, it's my uncle's basement. I call it The Bunker because it looks like one, you have to go down a large set of stairs.

I started with this! It was in terrible shape but I managed to make it livable again.

Cleaned up (same corner)

Same corner, now with recycled wood benches and Winter-time flooding. :(

There's a lot of spiders down there. I don't understand why, the only food available is other spiders... This was the big one.

your uncles basement floods like that every winter? wow

when we recently purchased our first home, somehow the garage/shed/work shop got crossed off the wish list. not sure exactly how it happened but i'm sure my better 1/2 had something to do with it. :)

i do most of my work outside (cutting grinding painting etc), but alot of the time i just hang out and work on my bikes in the basement. (commonly refered to as the man pit. :) )

Well, when we sold our house and bought a mobile, went froma 20x30 garage to nothing. So I built a 10x16 shed with 48" of storage above. I have my mechanics tool boxes and wood working stuff in there, as well as a home made belt sander, wood lathe, new-to-me metal lathe (Still working on tooling this one up) Drill press, air compressor and numerous vices and other smaller tools. I also have a Hobart 220 175 amp wire welder that moves between the shed and our storage unit. So you can assume it's pretty packed as far as space. I do the big work outside such as sanding and welding and such.

I make and smoke pipes and that's why the lathes and such......... I'm just getting into bicycles so will be moving things around just a bit. I've made a lot of my own tools for pipe making and many will be useful or adaptable for use in building a custom bike.

Any other members here smoke a pipe by chance? Shoot me a PM.

Here are some pictures to explain the above.
