I too had a great time, perfect day/nite, perfect location, food, scenery, etc. "Rolling over Joey's bike" is an understatement, Joey clipped the rear end of the jeep and slowly and gracefully went down, Then Glenn comes up with his Firestone and proceeds to start at the rear wheel, up over the sprocket, frame, and front wheel, How he did not get caught up on the pedals or ape hangers is beyond me, all I remember is Glenns feet spread wide, his eyes just a wide, his white knuckles on the grips, and all the clanking and rattling from his "TANK" doing the impossible, It reminded me of when I saw the first Monster Truck, Bigfoot, climbing over cars 30 years ago for the first time. By the way, Glenn never missed a pedal and kept on rolling.

Just one picture for now, Ian and Joey took several great photos, will wait for theirs, They probably slept all day today as they were still going strong when we left at 10 last nite.

Sorry I missed it last night. I have no doubt if I was there, I would have been involved in the "incident". I hope Joey has a few action shots from that!

Now, that picture is very good. It just begs for a "Caption Contest". It has it all...a group of bike wacko's standing on Goodyear's grave having some sort of fantasy about a FIrestone bike.

Dan

sorry Dan, no action shots from Joey, he was too busy scrambling away from the TANK to reach for his camera.

I had a great time last night, thanks to Rick and Glenn for picking me up on their way down, and for Ian for giving me a ride back later. I liked how after I clipped the jeep and went down, and then Glenn ran over my bike, the driver stopped in the road in front of us and almost caused more accidents. He opened his door to see if I was alright and almost doored me when I rode by him on the left and said, "I'm good".

anyway, here are pics, and as always, full size versions on my flickr page: http://www.flickr.com/photos/joeymac/se ... 567150510/

See Y'all next time.

I did not take one photo. I was having too much fun!!! Thanks for coming down everybody. Zeth, my apologies for dropping so many f-bombs. It happens when I mix fun and beer.

Tim's get off was epic. I saw it happen right before it happened. pedal catching the stump, down the curb thud in the middle of the street. And in, classic guy fashion, I asked between laughs: "You OK?" He replies; "I'm Good." So off I ride. One of my white hand grips is now red. The paper towel wrap on his knee at Archie Moore's was very funny as was the drops of blood on the table, but the icing on the cake is when he went by the rude guy and "tripped" so he could get a hand print on his shoulder.

My apologies for the LENGTHY wait at Louis' Lunch. I think the4 burgers were worth it, I hope you did too. I keep thinking of little things we did and chuckle. I needed a good day out. Thanks again!

Sorry I had to leave early....Well, maybe NOT!.....The OLD guy leaves and you guys start hitting Jeeps, riding over each other, dropping F-bombs, and leaving bloody hand prints on strangers......Actually I'm sorry I missed it! Oh! I forgot about the "relieving" of ones self in the cemetery..................See ya in the spring (Monson). :D

holy cow what a good time. Thanks to all our northerly brothers for making the long drive down. I had an awesome time. Funny, I thought it was going to be a pretty mellow afternoon, but it turned out to be a rippin' night.

and thanks too, guys, for backing me up with that rude guy who wouldn't move his chair for me to get to the men's room at Archie's. Watching you all bump him, and Tim pat his bloody hand on his back was priceless. I was going to exit that way too but the look on his face said he'd had enough. I think he'll politely move his chair the next time someone asks him nicely to squeeze through. You guys totally had my back lol

This kills me. They bond all day with the horror stories of having teenage daughters, then when photo time come they just cannot control themselves. And yet, on the way home Tim still says: "Glenn's a good guy for a Red Sox fan."

My Rockabilly's white hand grip is now "dried blood" red. The handle bars were pulled back and twisted in the forks. The chain guard is bend and scraped.

Joey was actually enlightening me on his duties at work. Pretty cool stuff.

The guys at Louis' claim they will put that photo on their website.

Tim "crashed" at my house. Sunday he was hurting from hitting the ground and hitting the bottle. my malady was only bottle related. We sat outside watching a parade for a couple hours. The guys firing muskets were not making us happy at all. I still managed a bike ride with Boy though. Tim managed to leave at some point Sunday afternoon. I slept on the couch for 3 hours, then got up and went to bed.

Just found a few photos on my phone.

how many guys does it take to patch a tube?

And this is all of us in front of "The Secret Society". I admit that I do not recall taking this one.
