My wifee didn't like the way her bike looked, but didn't want a new one.
She just wanted her old one repainted.
I would have gladly bought her something fresh as opposed to spending my last two day off re-doing this thing.
'80s Roadmaster.
This must be the luckiest bike around....lucky it wasn't melted down for the metal.
A dime a dozen.
Came out looking pretty good.
Detuned it from a 10 to a 5 speed.
Ground down the teeth of the outer chain-ring and turned it into a chainguard.
Chrysler engine red, red-line Electra tires, alloys, black cable housing, new pedals, cooler beverage holder and a tail-light.
Took it apart late on a Wednesday and made final adjustments mid-day Friday.
To give it a little credit, it's actually a pretty good rider.
I put about 80 bucks in it, which my wifee thought was a lot of money.
