My wife got me (well, let me buy) a custom one-off frame from DevenScience. Look for a build thread in this bad mother in the near future ;).

I didn't know where to post this. Fresh finds, Craig's List, Vintage mountain bikes? I put it here. I usually try and talk down the price but for $60 I couldn't see arguing about that price. Everything is straight and it rides like new, looks new too. Fits me perfectly. I bought myself a Christmas present today. It's a GT probably from the 1990s. I am going to scrap my last years winter bike, a 1990s Schwinn Frontier because it needs new rims, chain and freewheel. Everything is rusted tight on the Schwinn so it will be scrapped.

Gave this one to my father-in-law last year:

I love this bike...clean lines, but especially that bend in the fork, that's like, the 'right' amount of bend, right in the sweet spot,
Did you bend that Pedro???

My sweet and sassy lady listened and got me my first cup and bearing press! Not a Park but for $100 new and shipped, including the additional sealed bearing/BB set, I think she did real good......

This thing is so well made, I give it 5☆.... real deal stuff. Good job Baby!

Not much on the market for a preteen girl who wants a BMX bike and who's only prerequisite is it has pegs.....on short notice....

I think u did pretty good at $120 w/tax.

Besides maybe I can use some parts on a future build when she outgrows it lol! :rockout:

A much needed tub of parts cleaner with a strainer.
No more soaking my gummed up bearings etc...in WD40.

Also a 41 girls Roadmaster project.

It's all about the Tanklights!!

How did I run out of room so fast?
That girl's Roadmaster is begging for a TRM Convertible Tank...! Nice fish too!

My wife went shopping on the ratrodbikes.com website! I unwrapped this cool T on Christmas morning...sorry about the stock photo - mine's already packed in the suitcase for Arizona. Leaving tomorrow morning....sunshine and T-shirt weather here we come!

The wife hooked me up this year with a few bike related items. These are Patten prints that will look cool framed and on the shop wall. She also got me some Park Tool cassette removal sockets and a much needed Black & Decker 6 amp drill.

My father-in-law (and junking guru) got me this:

My wife surprised me with:

And I dont have pics of them, but 2 of the vendors at our shop gave me bike books. I will get a pic of the Schwinn 50th Anniversary book. Printed in 1945, it's a company history up to that date, with pics of the factory through time, and even goes into the changeover to military parts for the war effort. I'm a lucky man to have the family and friends that I have.
