Well, you're welcome! You guys didn't even mention how high some of the seats were jacked up. Do you all have short legs? :p Who can jack their seat up the highest and still reach the pedals? 8) EJ, it is Chicago for sure, in the 30's I'd guess, judging by the bikes. Likely within a couple of miles of the Schwinn factory. The 1930's in crowded Chicago would have been quite an experience. I'll scan more of them in the next couple of days. B607 Gary

It looks like a bike "parking lot" for a school.

Kids used to do that sort of thing before the dark times, before the Empire. :D

I still see 10 speeds with the bars flipped up, I doubt if the backwards bars will be hip again... who knows.

I love the time when kids were posing proudly with their bikes.

We have to take photos of our pals for the future, we are the only people proud to pose with bicycles

Is that an old pic Scott? It's looks like a modern pic made into black and white. Come clean! The stockade fence and landscaping just isn't period looking to me. B607

Here is my pic of my dad on his Schwinn that was dated November 1941 on back of pic. This pic is currently my avatar.
