The pic isn't to clear, but it looks like you have what's called "fish Eye". To avoid that thoroughly clean the part your painting (frames etc.) with a grease and wax remover, BEFORE you primer and BEFORE you paint. If you don't have any, you can use alcohol. This should eliminate "fish eye".

Very Nice 8) The pic of the front of the chaingaurd reminds me of the old streamlined trains from the 30's and 40's when everything was made to look fast.

I think the black and chrome gets you that outlaw look you were wanting. When I just saw the frame and springer I thought that's what you were going to go for. That's a good use for those Luxury Liner fenders. Keep it cummin!

I really like the look you got going with this oen.

It need a Schwinn Krate Mag Sprocket to give it that "rotating hatchet" look.

that thing looks sweet! maybe a chrome rack for the back would work compliment the crazy truss rods up front?

just my 2 cents

if it being old and black makes it diesel punk, then so are 1/2 the antiques on the planet. :)
i can see why it would appeal to the diesel punk crowd, but diesel punk.... i think not.

until you start adorning it with wierd and wonderful weapons of the future, its just an old bike with new life.

i'd steer clear of the diesel punk name. has about the same appeal as calling it " the goth or emo bike."
