I would appreciate any information you could give me to identify what I have here. I know you deal more with American made but I figured I'd ask. Here's what I know. You couldn't see with the naked eye but with a good light you could make out that there was a painted on head badge and other painted on--not decal--markings. I just can't find anything for "Phillips" Royal and wasn't sure if this bike may have been modified from a 3 speed to a single for track racing back in the day?
•Head badge painted on says "Phillips Royal" Made in England
•Seat stays are bolt-on
•Seat tube has a painted on label that says A&P--Accles & Pollock Tubes. Also says Guaranteed made in Engl
•Pedals are marked "Comet 6"
•Tires are Sew-up's 28 X 1 1/8 United States Rubber CO. Special Racer
•Wheels are metal Clad with New Departure coaster (1 speed) hub
•Chain wheel looks to be a Williams B100? 1" PITCH
•S/N appears to be B51289 with a 10 under the B5 & 36 under the 89
