the copperwork is fantastic. truly inspired. is it just 15mm plumbing pipe and a lot of elbow grease?

as for a sixpence helmet, i don't understand

regarding the sixpence.. i want a helmet that looks like this

Yeah hubgearfreak is right! FLAT CAPS they called In England, usually worn by old gents and men of character on old racer bikes....turned backwards when at high speed of course! Also worn by country folk and young lads with lurcher dogs on the end of a bit of old string :)! Me dad has loads if you want one sending his are all oilly like the late great Fred Dibnah's.... bless his soul, the king of Flat Cap wearers :D
 
thanx both, but after being hit by cars twice in the last year, i never ride without my helmet :) -so i need a helmet looking like a flat cap :) a danish company makes different looks for helmets, yakkay..but not the flat cap..

maby this could do it..
