How not to ruin schwinn decals?

I want to use polishing compound on my schwinn, but i dont know if it will take the decals off it or not...

it will remove it if you use polishing compund, Have you try just soap and water or claybar?

just dont use anything with ammonia it it (windex has ammonia in it)

I use furniture polish, you know the stuff that smells lemony! Pledge. Works Awesome. Spray it on and use a soft towel, that will shine it up for sure!

okay....i dont know how the decals on the newer schwinns would hold up to rubbing compound but i did my sons 57 with rubbing compound,followed by glaze,and then a cleaner wax and had no problems with them being damaged at all.
i wouldnt use the clay compounds id try these...

then just a wax from any auto store(napa has the 3m compound and glaze for alot cheaper than the link i posted or maybe your dad has some around :wink: ) just be sure to test a small spot some where not to obvious first! and use flannel polishing rags to apply and wipe down
