nice results. just curious.........was there metal flake or pearl in the red?

The red was a rattle can metal flake, and the experiance has me at the local paint shop for a gun and some advice. Even with good primer I had some issues with paint and the durability. As it was a rider and not something I wanted to pour a ton of $$ into I went with carefull prep and rattle can, but I don't think I will use anything but more quality paint in the future.We are still working on some replacement decals.But she rides real nice, and that is what it is all about.

looks sharp welcome to the forum and nice paint for rattle can. i have had good results with duplicolor metal specks red. it is not cheap however and comes out really fast so it works best in a heated area so the paint will not run. cool thing about it is if you want it dark spray it over a black base and it turns out more blood red and if you want lighter try white or silver. good luck
