We got to thinking... it just wasn't right for the Grand-son of locojoe to be rolling around on chrome wheels so...
I had a red rear 24 inch wheel and and a bronze colored aluminum 24" front wheel which had black spokes to match the rear. I tore it down and gave it a coat of red. Got it laced and am now truing it. New wheel set should be on the bike tomorrow.

Those red hoops are going to look great. I have one of these 26" AMF frames lying around. I got it very cheap, seeing this makes me want to dig it up!

Guess not... he decided he liked these cruiser bars better. I chopped a little of the length so they fit him better.

Bought a nice fork at Sunday's swap meet from threewire to replace the bad one.
