found the site yesterday and start build a low pedal scraper tomorrow ,pics will be up soon, Anybody else from the uk on here :)

And me too.
18m south of London.

I like my road bikes but it would be cool to find a bike show that wasn't all carbon fibre gizmo's at horrendous prices. The London bike show had a couple of Electra's and that was it for custom/cruisers.

you lucky there was nothing near me it sucks !!

Hmm, Cheltenham isn't really known for cutting edge urban culture is it?

You always have Zappis cafe in Oxford and Mud Dock Cycles & Cafe/Bar (nice waitresses!) in Bristol.

I reckon Noahs Ark nr Stroud would be a good place for a cafe too.

You usually get a few guys riding clunkers in 'The heck of the North Cotswolds'.

cheers man im i would say i would check them out but im moving to somerset this weekend to some tiny village so it is dead cert that me and my boss will be the only mods there but 1 riding buddy is enough

I think the closest you will find is at Billing Aquadrome (Puddleduck) from 8-10 June, Northants. Mainly Raleigh Choppers will be there, but other bikes too I am told. I plan to be there with one of my cruisers. Cruiser scene pretty lame here in the UK. Some cruiser owners have been elitist on the London Fixed gear and single speed forum and on another forum some of the Raleigh Chopper owners dont like guys with other bikes, so being a cruiser owner means you are in a serious minority. If you come to Herts let me know, we can go on a pub crawl/ride :). I have a Schwinn Vestige road bike and it has a massive 9 gears :)

Hi Seadragon
Thanks for the tip about Billing. I will have to see if I can get up there.
I did check out the Hot Rod Hayride car show which is not too far from me but they want £60 to get in (x3 family) works out an expensive trip
I have bought bikes for less than that
The beer cruise sounds a good offer. Likewise if you are at a loose end near J6 M25 any time.
Cheers Kev

No worries Kev

I didnt go to Billing in the end, weather was too awful, we still dont have our summer yet lol, well at least the drought is over

I do plan to go to Wicksteed Park in Northants in Aug. Will be all sorts of bikes there apparently, not just the usual group of Chopper owners but cruisers and other bikes too.
