Hi Mihu,

I would recommend the Elite VIPs. They're a bit fussy to attach evenly, but I like the idea of the bottle cage being held off the frame. Other folks simply use a piece of rubber cut to the dimensions of the screw mount part of the cage to protect the frame and then use simple cable ties to attach it. Both do the same thing, but I liked the looks of the Elite.

After seeing some of the bikes here, I'll be putting together something soon.
(Past bikes: Felt 1903, Townie Balloon 3i, GT Avalanche, Schwinn Typhoon)

Current pics of my Rat Rod. Added the apes, red chain, new stem and headlight. Bike is very comfortable with the apes. Next mod will be a suicide shifter.

Sorry for the mess, I was in the process of changing my home theater setup
Back to black..

Looks much better than with white wall tires and white brake/nexus cables, simple dual color schemes are way better than 3-color ones. In the end I really regret getting rid of that primer red Rockabilly paint and graphics, but.. meh.. it's too late

@lmarkos,
Which rims and wheels are that, looks great!
Thanks ;) You mean rims and tires? Rim is 56mm wide, painted flat black, bought them @ classic-cycle.de, they don't have them anymore. Tires: 24x3 Electra Fatti-O.

I recently scored this sweet Electra Super Deluxe with a unique cream/metallic green paint scheme. It's one of only two that were made, one men's and one women's. It's only a couple years old, but it rides like it's brand new so it immediately became the luxury liner of my cruiser fleet!

Updated pics of my Rat Rod. Moved the shifter to the frame and added an Electra leather roll bag. Just about done with the mods on this one.

I wanted to make the bike as long as possible so I lengthened the chain to get the back wheel all the way back in the dropouts which made the bike a little longer and lower.

Long time lurker, first time poster.

Here's my Lakester (sorry for crappy iPhone photos), that has recently went through it's first customization.

Lakester_1.jpeg

Changes include:

— Installed a triple tree chrome fork
— Removed back wheel fender
— Replaced stock pedals with Exustar e-pb56
— Replaced stock rims with black 24x2,5 inch ones
— Installed a double kickstand
— Installed a Cateye rearlight
— Installed a ring bell and little rear-view mirror

Next time I'm going to replace stock saddle, add some headlights, toolbag and paint it partially white or black (haven't decided yet). Also planning to replace Shimano drum brakes with some good disk ones.
