Columbia headbadge removal

I've got a late 40's Columbia with the rivets attaching it to the frame, any tips on removing it for painting?

I just removed one on a similar bike. They'll press out with the right tool from the inside.

For me, the handle end of my Craftsman 1/2 in drive breaker bar was perfect.

Position the side of the handle near the end against the inside of the rivet. and use all the leverage of the bar to drive the rivet out from the inside.

What he said ^

Use a hammer to tap on the pry bar.

Soak them with PB Blaster on the inside for awhile first.
