where can i find some BLACK ape hangers? im looking for the ridiculously long ones............maybe just 12" or so..........i might be wanting some for my Felt Sixty-8. and everywhere i look all i see is chrome. Electra makes some im gonna go look at tomorrow, but am just curious where you all find yours at?

The bars on one of my bikes are from Nirve. Nice and tall but narrow-ish. I got them on ebay about 9 years ago.

I've got a set of the Nirve chrome super apes on my cruiser. I got them about a year ago from Amazon for $30 with free shipping. I really like the riding position they give me. There is slight but noticeable flex (not surprising at all given the height) and I try not to pull myself up on them, since I'm a pretty big guy, but I haven't had any problems with them. One thing to be aware of is that they've got a 7/8" clamp, but mine came with shims for a 1" clamp. Unfortunately, the black ones seem a bit harder to get your hands on.
