Had this little 5 speed Pacific sittin around so I thought why not make the Schwinn a 5 speed....

not too sure about the tires and fenders but they'll stay for now.. Had to change to a thinner front sprocket for the thinner chain. Looks kinda like I'm goin pimpin in the mud!! :eek: .[/img]
 
thanx guys, it's gettin there...still need to cut down the steer tube. I really need a stick shift and a non schwinn slick then some paint...oh, and real fenders!!
 
well I took the whitewall knobbies off and threw these on for now.

well I threw a 10 speed crank/chainring combo on it. Had to loose the chainguard but can cruise ALOT faster now. Still a 5 speed but I'm runnin the chain on the bigger sprocket up front.

that looks ......$... i love 20" stuff. :mrgreen:

I seriously need to find a little 20" 5-speed like that pacific mountain bike you had there... i gotta scavenge it for parts to put on this old Ross Apollo 5-speed frame I found...
