I showed wife she made a face let out a groan knowing full well that was her future

You must love your wife very, very, very, very much.
That looks like a boat load of work ahead for ya.
I look forward to all of the progress pictures and updates.

Do you really have any idea how long it will take to replicate Mrs. Fish's 200 year old Georgian Courtyard with resplendent riparian entertainment via the mature Koi Pond?

Maybe Matti can give you a hand and yous boys can maybe knock out a courtyard shape in a couple of weekends before the frost.
The shrubbery however will have to be imitation or of your own Northern perennial interpretation. The Koi Pond will have to go deep too. Due to said frost eh?
I'd also suggest an extra deep shovel too if you don't have one already.
Maybe you can use the one I'm using.

Spent the day playing musical bikes rotating most of the bikes from the house to a main storage unit, and at the same time rotating so.e from that unit to another storage place at one of my rentals.

In the end I now only have my wife's little Dahon, Speedfish, Uncle Stretch, and my Greaser ebike. UNCLE Stretch and Greaser stayed because I didn't want to transport thise heavy beasts.

The rotating bikes took the whole day, but I did spend a brief amount of time thinking through what's left on Speedfish.

I'm just not sold on the headlights. I like how clean it looks without them. Took these two faced pics to help look at it. Of course some of the pics didn't focus.

I've been hanging around this place since build off 11. I've never seen you take a bad picture.
Were/are you feeling ok?

It looks fine without the lights, but maybe try them attached to the speed frame instead of the grill. A lot of the old hot rods had their headlights mounted down low.

That is where I originally mocked them up when I first tested them. But your down low statement gave me an idea. No time for a full mockup with the painters coming, but I could put them underneath the speed bumper and front end.

That totally Southern Fried KFC.
King Fish Cyclery! that is.
By the piece or the family pack!

BTW I just learned some shocking Canadian KFC chicken facts this week that some may find upsetting.
Colonel Harland Sanders actually lived in Mississauga Ontario..., Canada.

So memory served correct and really did meet him as a kid at a small town KFC while chompin' chicken at the old picnic tables.
Would have been '69-71 ish.
Same mall as Detroit Redwings' multi Stanley Cup winner and long serving Canadian politicians Red Kelly's bowling alley. My brother was a professional pin setter. Lol.
The Horseshoe Tavern has been in business at that location since 1947. Horton Heat, Los Straight Jackets and The World Famous Pontani Sisters were my most recent outings.
I do not like to interrupt often, but when I do...

I'm currently looking forward to savour Colonel Palmer's New Secret Coating Recipe more though.

KFC King Fish Cyclery! Now that is funny! Still working on the secret recipe on this one.

You've developed quite the portfolio as a bicycle artist. That's impressive, and even moreso considering that they're not all there. I know you've moved some builds on...

Thanks brother. This is my 13th build off, plus throw in a few off season BOs and builds.
Of my build off bikes, I think I have sold about 5 of them and I parted one out.

Queenfish shares MissIngolas groan! :D

That's a trip down memory lane in one group photo!

I agree, each one of these builds bring back tons of memories of the fun of build offs past. That's the way family reunions are.

It won't be quite as hard since our house is so much younger. It's ONLY 150 years old this year (1873). :D :D :D

I like it better without the lights. There's too much going on there with the little engine and lights

That is what I am thinking as well, but I am going to do a better mockup test of the lights under the nose just to be sure.

I may not have posted a bad photo, but I have taken many :D :D :D. I was just in a rush last night and wanted to at least accomplish something build off related. :D

Lower lights test. Couple of pics with no lights followed by pics of lights hanging forward under the speed bumper. What do you think?

No lights. Too busy

Thanks man. While I like the 2nd spread apart lights option, I think it distracts from the front end and the line of the rails.
Never know until you test it out.

Agreed. IMHO it has just the right amount of little eye grabbers right now without being overwhelming

Thanks man. I'm running through my head to see if there is anything I have forgotten, but I think I am at the point to start breaking down and do my paint prep and paint scheme layout.

Better, but still better without...

Appreciate the feedback! Plus it's one less thing to worry about doing with the time crunch that is upon us! :D :D

Just about ready for tear down
