I posted in the Wanted area, and it was suggested that I could probably find most of this at the local hardware store. However, I am rotten at estimating sizes. So, if I could be pointed to the right sizes for the listed fasteners, that would be great... Thanks! I picked up a 26" '47...

Picked this up today, seller thought 50's, seems to just be missing the seat. Tank is included. Price was right, wondering what year it might be.

Where it looks like white, it is the decal discolored. Anyone seen a Huffy Five Xpress, and are they worth running? I have a 10 year old (short) grandson, and this is an alternative to a mountain bike for him to ride with us. I figure it will be more acceptable than the Fair Lady to him. :D

Picked up a nice tall 72 Varsity today. Put the wheels back on, aired the tires, compared the derailure to my Twinn's so I'd get it right (Have I mentioned I never had a 5 or 10 speed as a kid?), and took it for a ride. I think I'll like this bike, as long as my legs don't get shorter. :D...

My landlord's grandson called to me as I returned from a ride this morning, said he had a bike I might want. Went out back and this was laying in the grass- All there, including the light set. Aired the tires, and rode it down the street. Needs a couple of chains cut off, but in very good...

This was a bike I bought used at least 20 years ago. I rode it some with my kids, then forgot about it, other than moving it when I moved. So, I'd like to know- what the heck is it? Worth re-doing, or good to part out? It was blue, but seems to have chrome underneath.

Found this on local craigslist last night, and beat the crowd there today. Very dusty, and drywall texture overspray. This is after a five minute cleanup. :D Rides and shifts well, 27 inch tires seem to hold air, dates to April '82. Paid $20.

Local cl had a "bike built for two' heading. Pic showed a Schwinn, so I emailed. No call back for several hours, and I figured I missed it. 7"15, they called, I was there by 7"45, and now have it in my garage. The good- Five speed, shifts well, front brake works well, one original seat...

I bought this for the rack, and possibly the crank set, but before I break it down, is there any other 'worth' to it? Seems pretty generic. Shimano 3 speed, missing the external hub parts.
