Winter finds

After managing to hang up my bikes and my lawn chairs in my one car garage for the winter, I avoided buying anything....for awhile. While in a local flea market with the wife, I saw a Pixie, in decent shape. With seven grandkids under 5, she agreed to the purchase quickly. $20. Just need training wheels. Not sure of the year.

Then, today, one of the drivers at work picked up a 68 Schwinn Fair Lady, for free. He is in an apartment, with two kids and realized he has no room. He mentioned selling it, and I asked how much. We answered $40, and I agreed.

i love those win/ wins. the driver was probably beside himself that he got a quick 40 for a freebie / and you got a killer buy for a nice fair lady. and the person chucking it in the trash is happy with the newfound room in the basement or garage. sweet!
