So after following the steps for pulling it apart and cleaning and relubing, it works properly several times then takes a full turn or more then works properly. Only does it every so often. All the parts looked fine. Seems tight enough but not too tight. No play in the hub. :(

No idea on what brand it is. It's on an early 80's Murray bmx bike that I've had since new and fixing it up for my son.

When using my coaster brake, I have to pedal backwards almost two full turns before the brake will apply. Anyone know why and how I can fix it? Thanks in advance.
