I forgot to mention, this was all done in secret in order to give it to her as a surprise. :happy: So on Christmas I gave her the saddle (she thought it was for her foldy bike :21:) and then gave her the bike. She liked it a bit :21::dance2: Cue a ride: :happy:

So, after practicing every night after work for 3 weeks, I embarked on the adventure, I took it slow (very very slow), drew a center line where needed and went for it: Note to self, pinstriping on chrome is HARD, the reflection plays silly buggers with the eyes...

A quick update. Fitted an adaptor for BMX BB to 3-piece and a Tange sealed bearing BB and Lasco 44t single (way lighter than the old one piece). Got a 50mm wide rim, Halo spin doctor disk hub, Clark Hydraulic disc brakes (on special offer) and had it laced and fitted. BUT the most important...
