Stingrays Only! (Early scramblers and hurricanes too!)

'83 with a V6 that I plan to supercharge for no good reason. It also came with a 454 and a gear driven tranny because the previous owner wanted to turn it into a 4 wheel drive monstrosity. It's currently in the shop getting prepped for inspection and it just so happens that my stingray fits into...

Looking for opinions - Front tyre and forks?

More like knees and jawbones. If you try to pedal while sitting, that is. I've never liked the feeling of actually sitting on the seat while in motion, hence the seemingly awkward setup. The seat is even lower now than it is in that picture. I'm going looking for wheels and trees tomorrow...

Looking for opinions - Front tyre and forks?

About average height - 5' 9". Can you imagine someone over 6 feet tall on that thing? You're telling me. I've found the perfect forks that are comfortable, properly angled, and rigid, they look good as well. My only need now is the wheel - the runty mini tyre needs to go. I'm thinking of...

Looking for opinions - Front tyre and forks?

Thanks for the input on the rakes - I have an old huffy 10- speed with some much longer ones that I may try out. I'm a fan of the drop bars as they are easier to control than apes for me.

Looking for opinions - Front tyre and forks?

After a while of painting and scavenging for parts I have finally gotten my Stingray where I want it to be. Here it is: I have always liked the simple, DIY approach that most childhood bikes and cafe racers have, which is what I went for here. However, despite being a 'style over comfort'...

Need to fill in some holes in my Moultonframe & wheel advice needed.

That should work. The screws are in decent shape?

    Just picked these up.

Nice find. Plan on doing anything with them?

Need to fill in some holes in my Moultonframe & wheel advice needed.

Putting the screws back in as suggested earlier may solve the problem if you don't mind the look of useless screws in the frame.

    I need some opinions.

    Trike.

    New Guy

What I have is a Stingray abomination of old and new: This is it after I'd done some minor parts conversions. I can't say for sure what year it is as I've dated some parts from 2006 and others as old as the 60s. Right now I'm fighting with the seat post which seems to be rusted pretty good in...

    New Guy

Hi. Been a lurker here for about half a year, admiring the bikes and reading up on some how-to's for helping friends with their bikes. I finally got my hands on my dream bike and decided now would be a good time to make an account (especially since I've run into some difficulty now). Look...
