Hi. Been a lurker here for about half a year, admiring the bikes and reading up on some how-to's for helping friends with their bikes. I finally got my hands on my dream bike and decided now would be a good time to make an account (especially since I've run into some difficulty now). Look forward to sharing my bike with you guys and getting to see all the other great bikes out there.

What I have is a Stingray abomination of old and new:

This is it after I'd done some minor parts conversions. I can't say for sure what year it is as I've dated some parts from 2006 and others as old as the 60s. Right now I'm fighting with the seat post which seems to be rusted pretty good in there.

Welcome! look for the serial number on the head tube or rear dropout left side of bike and use this sight to get the year the frame was made. Cool bike
