    "building" a loser

I never even sat on the original seat or held on to the original grips. They came off immediately as I built it. Yes, I assembled it myself. The original grips are much like the Brooks grips surprisingly. The seat is well enough made but I had the brooks gear eager to go on something...

Now I need to remove some decals off the frame and find a good replacement for the pedals and the front and rear "lights" I'd like to find proper lights so I can ditch the reflectors.

LOL, so that rootbeer colored Huffy Premier went on sale at Walmart. Complete bike for $79! I bought it... Put the Huffy seat and grips on the schwinn collegiate (because that frame is just small for me) and put my brooks saddle and grips on the Huffy... Came out Great!

Never used to be an issue. I just moved the photos to a new folder that I made public. Hope that helps?

    Townster - an urban cruiser

Fell in love with the Guv'nor look a lot or maybe it's more their Roadster I like. I wasn't too sure so I'm not calling this a look-a-like of any kind, just something I want for myself. I started with a Schwinn Collegiate. The frame isn't anything special, which is perfect since I'm not...

Let's see your Pashley Guv'nor style bikes!

Would a Schwinn Collegiate be a good choice for one of these builds? I love it! The Guv'nor is the look I want next! Also is a 26 x 1 3/8 appropriate or is 700c?

Dayton-Columbia, as close to done as it will ever be.

I LOVE this bike man! Holy crap! custom but not all super fat tires and motorcycle looking! This is so rad!

on another side note - this is another 700c bike I really liked on wally's website... It's actually a Columbia???? I'm really kinda diggin' these 700c cruisers... not practical for around my house because I live in the country and have a small farm, but I do go on pub crawls in the city with...

Sorry guys, that's not my bike, I just came across it while looking up the Cranbrook frame and ended up liking it - a lot! Here is my bike - after I put the brooks saddle and grips on it. But after I took that picture I necked down a cold coors light and stared at it in dismay. I said to...

Well I officially have more money in a Brooks B67 Seat than I do this entire bike! At least if I find a frame I like better later on down the road, any add-on stuff I do to this can be taken off just as easily! Splurged with some Brooks grips and mini ape hangers as well. Next I think I want...

Hey, so my question is how many of you all have built a bike based off a Chinese "knock-off" frame? Is it worth while or is it a huge waste of time? In the end is it still just a Chinese knock-off or can it be a decent bike that someone can be proud of? Sorry, no pictures for now. I'm trying...

    Sarge

Yea, yet another military themed bike. I started out with this Greenline: First thing I needed was a rear rack so I could pack my small cooler around, filled with beverages. I had some scrap metal stock laying arond my garage and went to bending and tacking: Then I had enough scrap metal...
