Fell in love with the Guv'nor look a lot or maybe it's more their Roadster I like. I wasn't too sure so I'm not calling this a look-a-like of any kind, just something I want for myself.
I started with a Schwinn Collegiate. The frame isn't anything special, which is perfect since I'm not trying to brag too much about the frame. But it's a (small?) 22" frame and it has some 590 rimmed 26" tires so the wheelset has been swapped out before. I fitted some of my parts to the bike to see how I like it before I disassemble it entirely for paint etc.
I personally feel pretty cramped on the bike so I'm going to have to look into some solutions for more leg room and that's exactly why I fitted most things prior to just disassembling and painting it right away.
Started with this:
with just a few bolt ons, I'm here:
Maybe a big springer front fork mod is in order. I'm 6'2" so I'm hoping/thinking that would help me get the front fender out from under my toes when I pedal! haha.
