True. I'll test it out. My Whizzer has 2000 miles on it and has a standard Schwinn frame with the same tube thickness with no twist or damage. Pat says his frame will hold up with a 160cc
Pat updated his website with the option of buying the frame (and added new truss rods). The frame is going for $300 which is a great deal. Even though it's different from the style I wanted to go for (wanted a diamond style earlier Harley) I'm going for it. Thank you all for your suggestions-Rob
Thank you Bicycle808. I'll have to do this if I can't find anyone else. I'm worried about the tube thickness. I think his bicycle frame is thinner wall when compared to his heavyweight frame.
$500 is my budget for the frame.
Hello,
Not sure if this belongs in the wanted section or if it's okay here.
I'm looking for someone to build me an early board tracker frame. I'll post some photos when I get a chance. No need to be accurate to one manufacturer. Rear facing dropouts and ground down or braced looking welds...
Bought 2 of these for the wheels for my motorized bike. Frames were in great condition. The guys who sold them to me were really cool. They have more if anyone else in LA is interested.

Hello All,
I wanted to hear your opinions. I am starting a build using a Raleigh DL-1 as a basis. I intend to stretch the frame and add hub brakes. I'm not sure of the motor though. I have a 2000 Whizzer that I can use, but will need a rebuild soon. Or I can sell it and buy a Honda GC clone...
Hi Kingfish. I've seen the tank. Excellent work! It looks so factory, I'm sure some collectors would think it was a rare option. Makes me want to buy a girls bike just to use it!
Wonder if it will fit the Schwinn Exercise bike?:39:
Hello Enthusiasts,
I was thinking about making a Bowden Spaceander shell conversion kit. I would like to hear some opinions since this hasn't been done before quite like this.
Bowden Spacelander was an unusual design. Not very attractive, but kinda cool. More of a novelty of history than...
Hello Everyone,
I was wondering how you guys fill in the hole/holes left when cutting a downtube or chain tubes off a bottom bracket. I am making a recumbent based on two Nishiki road bikes. The male is at the rear, while the female frame is up front. The new center down tube that will connect...
Great to know. Many thanks for your answer.
Does anyone have photos of what they've done? I would love to see some examples. I'm going to start on mine in a few weeks and will document it here.
Hello All,
I have a modern crank I want to make look vintage. I plan to convert into a skip tooth by grinding off every other tooth. Has anyone tried this? Any performance issues like the chain falling off or pedaling is not as efficient? Any problems I'm not thinking of?
My bike is a single...
