Yeah...for some reason it doesn't feel as balanced to me.

Also...the bike might be too cartoonish for a shirt.
It's all about fun, both look good.

I'm sure a special limited edition shirt could be created.
That would be nice Steve.
I guess a quote would be in order...;)

CONTEST QUESTION
I would like to join the fun. I will be in the UK when the BOTEN starts. The only frame I have right now is a 1980s girls Murray. I have a gender bander boys frame I built as an experiment over Easter but it turned out crooked because I didn't have a jig. What I would like to do is cut off the rear triangle, replace the seatpost tube and weld it back together with a complete mountain bike rear triangle instead of the spread and crooked road bike chain stays and mountain bike seat post stays. Basically I would build a jig and replace the back half of this frame in the picture below. My question is can I use this frame I already started on if I rebuild it after the BOTEN starts?

Thanks, I'll take it as an official OK cause Rat Rod likes it, ha. I have to make a trip to get some scrap frame rails from camp for the jig. Good luck and major hiccup free building to all (it never goes smoothly though does it?).

Go for it.

I may have just picked up the basis for my build off bike... :39:

Looks like some welding will need to be done.

I had planned to skip this years build off so that I can focus my time on several projects for our house. But I just got a frame that I really want to build so I've been thinking that I might jump in and go for a quick build (if I can restrain myself).

Probable starting point

Anyone know what it's from?

They are from '59 Fords. I still have a pair that I picked up from an RRB member a few years back. I haven't found the right project to use 'em, but I keep trying...
I hope you find the right place for yours.

There's also a pair on EBay.

Hey thanks. I paid less than half the eBay price, may need to clean them up some. The seller told me they were from a Hudson, funny.

You're Welcome.
If you suddenly decide that you need another pair you know where they are now.
I tried one on my current radio flyer rat wagon project and one on the top of the Evans fork, but neither idea stuck.

XII days...
