When I got on the bike after the last photo, I realized I had a flat rear tire. So I had to walk the last 15 minutes home, but it was a great first ride!!!!

+1 on the Kool Knight! That chain is, well, off the chain!

This bike has such a cool vibe with everything in it's natural state; meaning no added paint, just added on as is.

Yeah, it sorta does. One of the people that was talking with me about the bike on my ride liked it just the way it was and said it didn't need paint. We'll see. I already have the paint scheme in my head though.

That blend of patchwork colours on the bike is really awesome, but I'm sure you have another ace-paint-job up your sleeve!:cool2:

I got this in the mail today!!!!!

Killer Unity headlight that is just the right size. Great chrome trim ring and excellent patina on the body. Fits the bike like a charm!!!! I am thinking of tinting the lens blue.

Pulled out my hanger bracket stuff (forget the name of it) and it turns out it matches the Gaskill speedo. I'll so a more permanent bracket, but this worked well and it was easy.

I saw this sitting in a bin. It's a hang ten dimmer light pedal (yes we hit the bright lights with our feet whipper snappers). I bought it from someone here on RRB ages ago. It won't go here, but I may slide it down lower behind the guard, or save it for another build.

You have a masterful way of making a bunch of seemingly unrelated stuff, work together in harmony. You sir, were born to rat!

Come on down to the all you can eat buffet at the Western Sizzler.

Speaking of which, here are some pics of the vintage Trygg butterfly stand.

How about a stem mounted headlight holder for the speedo bracket?

I most liked the speedo between the handlebars' curve

but I see how it is tricky to make it flow with the bike.

P.S. I would like to see a pic with the handlebars horizontal (matching the horizontal frame tube + the horizontal sissy bars part and the speedo between them as it was previously), if you have the time and wish to indulge me. :whew::blush:

On a biz trip for a couple of days. I'll try that, but i can already tell you that the speedo in front of the stem is going to overcrowd an already busy front end. The springer would get lost.

Just discovered that I got this mag sprocket from @beatcad way back in 2012 when I bought a couple of frames from him

The chainring is 46T and I am using a 19T rear cog, so my gear ratio is 2.42

Just wondering if I should get this hoodie?

Been thinking about shortening the sissy bar for more of a race or sport look, rather than a chopper look. Mock up with the spear tip about an inch higher than the top of the bars. Using a sweatshirt to visually hide the remainder.

This woukd shorten it by 8 inches. It was 26" from the curve to the tip. The new length would be 18".
