Sorry for going way off topic :oops: ! But when i was a tad younger...way back when :shock: I used to sport a mohawk....but i have this urge in me to get my hair cut into a proper pompadour/ psychobilly style!
Mid-life crisis ...call it what you want, at 47 do you think i can pull it off? Any other guys on here sporting one? Please post pics!

there's nothing wrong with sporting a pomp at ne age......i have been doing a pomp for about 2 years but i haven't got a great picture of it........here's a pic from my work x-mas party....

I've always loved the way punk has connected with different genres....reggea, ska, rock and roll... but who would have thought Rockabilly! Apart from the Meteors :D! But its SO stood the test of time i think 8).
 
Go for it!!!! When I was heavy into my rockabilly days, I had a flat top with fenders a couple times. If I can find some pics, I'll post them. Nowadays, I kind have a mini pomp. Of course, it always looks best fresh from the barber shop!

:( Stuck in work again all weekend! Been flat out since new year after all the snow loads of accident damaged cars to do! Will try again next weekend.......but promise pics will follow mate :oops: !
 
:D Hey got it done! .....My barber opened up early on Saturday morn ...A wedding in town! So as he is an old friend he fit me in before I went to work , Im chuffed to bits with it ....pics to follow ...
