Not exactly what you're calling out, but this is the only thing I've got that (I think) is actually rare:

Circa 1946 Schwinn racing tandem, serial #X003. Built essentially like a later Paramount tandem (fillet-brazed chromoly), but at the time, it doesn't appear that Schwinn was yet advertising a tandem version of the Paramount. I have no idea what to do with it at this point, but it was given to me by a guy that was moving and didn't want to take it.

I have yet to come across anything that was really the same, despite extensive internet searching.
