saved this ole boy from the scrap dumpster today.
tires are rotted out, but everything else seems ok, to my standards.
check out the light, pretty cool lil rocket ship.
I'll put some new tires on and clean him up and post more pictures.

Yeah...crazy stuff. That is one sweet bike...love the light!

Do most of you folks who visit the scrap yards and recycle places live in industrial areas?

I'd probably have to drive 50 miles to get anywhere near a metal scrap yard...and then they probably wouldn't let me in. The only thing around here is auto junk yards and they don't take bikes.

good save. i cant believe what some people will throw away, thats an awesome light!

One like this at the flea market for 40 dollars, should i buy it?

Good save!

A) one more cool old ride saved from being scrapped

B) the tailfin-esque rack on the back is GREAT!

yeah, there's supposed to be a rack in the middle. I think my buddy has one but i have to wait till tomorrow to get it. Ricky, if you saw one for forty, I'd buy it, quick!! To me the parts alone are worth it.

Obviously the bike is great but do you notice the cat in the pics ?
He looks at Yustins bike and then he goes and looks in the cans........
