I've never seen that color scheme on that year of Schwinn bike, and I've never seen that badge before. It looks like a radial engine and prop off an old type biplane. I think that orange was added later over cream color. Gary

yeah the orange is over white. my aunt said she did it when she was a teen...my grandfather had some touch up paint for a old car they had. i couldnt find a pic that yr with that light on the fender.

Look for double Knurling & S-2 on rims for Ballooner. Single knurling and S-7 for Middle Weight. Tires will be 24 x 2.125 for Balloon, 24 x 1 3/4 for middle Weight
