You may notice a battery sat in the pannier....
No I'm not going electric, that was so last year!

I actually have some lights left over from previous projects, so I thought I'd use them on this. They are 12volt led, hence the lead acid battery. It's actually out of a fire alarm, don't worry, it's a spare!

An entire pagan holiday is based around those colors. And so was the great pumpkin. Just ask Linus. Awesone in my book.

Classy stitching and lights.

I took the saddle to the workshop as it needs a little more work.

Firstly I welded the mounting holes up at the front

cut the rear ones off, then painted the frame.
I found a piece of stainless steel for the back. I folded it then bashed the one edge so that it stretched and caused the metal to curve.

This was then bolted to the seat frame to give me a lip to rivet the top to.

I used aluminium solid rivets. Normally I squash them with an air chisel. But I ordered a hand squeezer online a few days ago. The hand ones are less likely to mess up!
Just as I got to the point of riveting the hand one was delivered!
My first go with it..

So that's the saddle done. I know I could have just bought one instead of spending around 10 hours working on this one, but Where's the fun in that?!
