Converting caliper brake bike to v-brake bike

wonder if that v-brake addapter for the front would work on the back. i didn't see one for the back.

As far as I know any adapter should work front and rear - mine will be at the rear. I haven't got my wheel back yet, i'm having the single speed hub fitted into a steel mtb rim

I got mine fitted, it seems to work fine

The top-centre bolt was only threaded on part of the length but I added a large spacer from an old hub axle and four washers and that fixed it. The hose clips were a bit awkward.

do they give you enough reach to run a 24" rim in a 26" frame?

will huge fat 3" wide tires fit in there?

Rick,
Remember the adapter only re-creates a regular v-brake set up.
What you could try for 24in wheel in a 26in frame is adding a piece of metal, drilled at each end to the top of the adapter to lower it's reach from it's fixing point above the bike's fork-arch.
