My friend bob also races. Man alot of ppl i know street race.. How stupid.

I street raced several cars, in several cities, over several years. I had a 1987 Monte Carlo SS I raced in North Texas and then I had a Dodge Neon, we called 1/2 Hemi, that ran a 50 or 100 shot (depending on the weekend) of Nitrous while I lived in South Texas. It was fun at the time, but as I look back, I was probably cheating death on a few occasions.
I don't street race any longer. I won't even consider it now, mostly due to the number of Toyota Camry drivers out there.
Am I the only one that's noticed they drive like idiots? Truth be told, I just like running cars at the track better than risking the life of others racing on the street.
No race is worth killing someone or yourself.

I remember the last day of my senior year in high school we had an impromptu burnout contest in the parking lot. My SS won. That 200r kept shifting between 1st and second gear while the tires kept "SSSSSmokin!"
Our nearest drag track is 100 miles away
The town wont put in a drag track,no matter how many patitions weve signed. But they have no problom spending the towns money on faster potrol cars ( including 2 hemi Chargers) and a helicopter whos main perpose is to stop street racers.
