No, it's too big by far. Maybe if I could cut up a 13/16 seat post and makes these side plates I could have a local welding shop put together something like this:

I also like the idea of getting some solid steel rod off ebay and fabricating a bent post.
 
Nope, nothing new.

Twice I tried in vain to fit new wheels but the frame just doesn't want to cooperate. Finally, I gave up and am planning to reassemble the bike like it was when I got it from you. I might sell it or part it out, come Spring.

I am concentrating more on my 1940's-50's Hawthorne nowadays.
