Relaxing today and working on bikes

Taking a break from college classes to get some work on done on a Schwinn frame for one of the guys at the bike shop. Hope to get it, for the most part, smoothed down, bead blasted, and ready for primer. Then I'll skim a few areas with filler and start the sanding process. The chainguard is...

    The garage stool

Had to do an art project so I made this thing to go in the garage.

    Found!

...in my garage. I forgot I had this thing. Been cleaning up and it was stashed behind some stuff. Might have to get it out to break the boredom now that there's no football on the TV. '65 Western Flyer (Murray) with a springer and a 60cc that I bolted to it so it wasn't laying around...

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Y-87lQQc21E The 360 up the staircase was nice.

    Some impressive riding

I know this doesn't follow along the normal confines of what this forum is about, but watch the following video and be amazed. This guy is one of the best (if not THE best) riders I've seen. http://www.redbull.co.uk/cs/Satellite/e ... 2926492302

    Iron Horse Yakuza

Picked this thing up today. Previous owner didn't like the factory gray, painted it white, and got overzealous when it came time to reassemble...messing up the paint. Has a massive 26x2.65 up front and a 2.35 in the rear. It's 42lbs of mountain-pounding fury. I'm going to strip it to...

    Puch

Scored this thing today. Owner didn't want to bother with repairs. Now to find out what it is. Has a Sachs 3-speed shifter on the right, a Shimano shifter on the left that isn't connected to anything - it's barely bolted to the bars. Front brake only. Interesting.

    Ross Apollo

I found a Ross Apollo locally but it has a few issues...as you'd expect from most bikes this old. The major one is that the rear dropout is broken away from the frame in one location. Can't remember if it's the seat stay or chain stay, but it's on the NDS. There's tape over the seat, some...

    FINX Kruiser

Somehow I ended up buying this bike from Adam over the weekend. Went out to get some quick shots today. Here's a couple, might have to go over the rest and see what's good.

    Daughter's Cruiser - Chopped Cranbrook

Bought this thing with the intent to do something with it (something cheap, preferably), just not sure what. Spent some time staring at it and couldn't decide on a direction to go with it so I decided to just start cutting. Removed the wheelset, stem/bars, crankset, and...

    Wife's Cruiser

Don't remember what this thing was called, but it was just a cheap bike I picked up on Ft. Campbell with the intent to build a cruiser for my wife. She rode my chopper and liked the stretched-out riding position on it so I figured it was time to build her a cruiser for as little as possible...

    My slow build

Big chopper. 77 in wheelbase. In this picture it's running a 26 in rear and 24 in front, but is now running front and rear 26s with disc brakes at both ends thanks to it being propped up against the back of the truck and someone (me) forgetting it was there before I decided to back up. :oops...
