    Old Timer

I'm starting with this 1953 Raleigh. The only original thing I'm gonna keep is my wife. This bike will recieve a few modifications and a lot less of it's original components. I just want a good around town daily ride. I didn't like the fact that the top truss bracket...

    A Bike For Smiley....

Here's Smiley's bike all finished. She's a wonderful person and the best friend I've never met. To read more about her and the bike you can go to the bike build forum by this link and see what happened. I told her not to park it in the woods, you may never find it again...

    A Bike For Smiley...

I did a bike last month for a friend in Seneca, S.C. called ***Blue Eyes*** . Several months ago (through her) I made another friend and this bike is for her and she also lives in Seneca S.C. I asked and her favorite color was camo or orange, or pink. I've never done a camo paint job but I hope...

    ***Blue Eyes***

I've been gathering parts and working on this since mid October but just now getting around to posting it. I'm building this bike for a great friend in Seneca, S.C. for a Christmas Present. She said her favorite color was BLUE so if my tires come in on time I should be able to get it finished. I...

    New, Used, & Reused....

I know it's late for entering but I had to get all my traveling out of the way. Now I just hope I have time to get it finished before the deadline. This is where I'm starting from with a 24" Roadmaster and only a little bit of direction. Now to get down to nothing....... Then I...

    Yeah Thanks Crassly!!

I got my whitewall tire mounted today. Just what I needed. I had a big old smile on my face too, but not a pretty as GTCOMA's little girl over her bike. You are just spreading smiles all over the world. Keep it up. Thanks I'm Moooovin on up with great parts from Crassly. Ya gotta love it.

    Grocery Getter.....

This is probably more of an unbuild than a build but I thought I would just slap the Grocery Getter in here since I didn't know where to put it. It's a little slow (with me pushing) but she's a hard row to follow. She helps put food on the table and with a failing economy these might go into...

    A Double Delight......

I missed this really cool tandem. Both handle bars are linked to turn together. At Carlisle Pa.'s automotive swap meet I checked by this booth numerous times and never found anyone there. I had so much DROOL in my mouth I probably couldn't have talked to them anyway. Oh well.

    Scar-face rat........

Got this 24" Monarch from Crassley a couple of months ago. Made a few changes for a daily rat rider. Carried it with me to the Run to the Sun car show in Myrtle Beach last weekend. Only got a chance to ride in the late evening after I closed up shop. Still managed to ride about 17 miles around...

    Roadmaster serial # help

I have an old Roadmaster and was told it was a 1926 model girls bike. I can't find out how correct that is. The # is J61204. Can any body help on verifying this or at least put me in a decade range? Thanks

    Thanks Fred....

I bought these because I just had to have them. Yeah, right. I bought the brown Huffy from an older fellow in Raleigh, N.C. named Fred. We had a great time talking about the Bible, the Lord, and going to Heaven. Before I left he gave me a NEW (still in the original box) 1968 heart shaped coffee...

    Toothless Jack

This being my first build, makes me a little slower than you Pro's. I started with a late 50's Roadmaster skip tooth(girls bike) and this is as far as I've gotten. Going to be Jack-O-lantern Orange with cream colored wheels and a Glitter Orange seat (may not cover this one, it has a great old...

    My wifes Hawthorn.........

I took my wifes bike out, aired up the tires and took it out for a 7 mile ride in the country yesterday. I just got my breath back. It's a lot of uphill roads around here. It still has the Raleigh N.C. bicycle license from June of 1965 on it. I never noticed until I was taking the pictures that...

    Burritos first ride....

My man Tyler took the burrito for its first ride today. He went to the store for honey buns. We love honey buns just about as much as we love this site. Next will be the details.

    Durham, N.C. (my work neighborhood)

Durham, N.C. (home of Duke Basketball). Just some shots from work towards the east, then the west. Oh, we finally got the burrito rideable. My man Tyler took it for the first ride today. Now we gotta get the garbage back on it (like fenders, rear rack, wide whites & stuff). We will also do...

    Finally rideable, soooooo...smooth

My 67 Gazelle finally has enough parts on it to be able to ride it. It is a very smooth ride. I'll keep sporting the original paint for a while until I decide on some other changes. We use it around town to run to the bank, pay bills, get lunch, and with that said I'm getting hungry. Gotta go...

    Still looking 4 more......

Does this fever ever go away or does it just get worse? This is my first skip tooth (got it off ebay for $80.00 including shipping). It's a keeper, but it needs a sex change real soon and some other changes. My newer Roadmaster $20.00 local And the Kawasaki was a frebbie

    It's all I have 4 now...

I'm a newbie and this is all I have to show for now. My wifes old Hawthorne is in storage right now so no photo. Maybe later. Here is my stretch that I recieved in 2 pieces so why not (I'm not done yet), and the 67 Gazelle I plan to rod out, a 53 Raleigh that needs paint and assembly (I bought...

    New & getting older..........

I'm new to the bicycle world. Man I have a lot to learn. I've been into cars, trucks, and motorcycles since I was 13 years old (42 years). I knew it all when I was 13 but now I know nothing. I'm self employed at Carolina Classics F-100's. Been selling 48-79 F-100 parts for 26 years. I learned...
