Ever just put a find into a box?

I got this bike and the more I look at it the more I'm thinking that I just want to pack it up into box and hide it away. Maybe some for some distant relative to find or an archeologist. Anyone else ever have these thoughts or do it?

    Wasn't for sale...

I saw this bike and was struck by it. It is clearly someones daily rider and although I didn't meet them I'm pretty sure I'd like them.

    Cruiser Bike Gearing thru time...

I have the impression that the gearing of single speed cruisers has changed thru time. My oldest bike has a 50t chain ring, a 18t sprocket and 26 wheels - 50*26/18 = 72 gear inches I was looking at a new cruiser it had a 44t chain ring 22t cog and 26 wheels - 52 gear inches I wonder if this is...

    Slick Daddy

Someone was asking about who would drive over an hour for bicycle. I wondered who'd do that myself. Now I know who would... Me... FUN!

    Road Rage Tricycle

This build went really fast. In fact it came together in about 3hrs after I had the parts. This is Sirocco's street sister and will get built out with trailer etc. But right now it's just a FUN trike. Very simple single speed coaster drive train. It's a bike.. It's next job is to map out...

    A Dyno for the lady!

Still has the nubs on the tires. Paid $150... She is absolutely perfect.. Except a single cog on a cruiser is a lot to ask in Seattle. On the other hand I got to ride her from pike street down to westlake. What a sweet coast on a perfect day. I bet she'd have been a joy around greenlake...

CL - $20 find... Las Vegas BABY!

It has a bent rim, a bent fender and the front brake needs some help. I have some ideas about matching up some parts I have to make it even more FUN! I don't know anything about the bike. Pretty happy with my newest $20 find though!

    Steampunk Bicycle - Wheelman

I simply couldn't resist this purchase either. What was really FUN is this one is a bit ratty due to use. Both my son and I got up and going on the second try. He put more laps on than I did but we both had a lot of FUN! The rear tire has some serious rot and the whole bike needs a good...

    Oh it's so Cute!

Could not resist picking this up for $30... Haven't gone on any big trips but did make myself dizzy ridding laps around the lobby on it. On a very frequent trip for me I have 30 minutes to make 3 mi to catch a train. What I would like to do is make this little beast into check on luggage that...

    Dyno on Seattle CL

I've never found anything other than the BMX bikes on CL in Seattle. Guess I can't say that in more. That's the end of my hunt for a frame. Whole bike for $100 including the basket that he simply would not let me convince him I didn't want.

    Sirocco - Soft Sand Trike

The last box of parts I was waiting on before starting the assembly of this build arrived today. Sirocco is a dry wind that blows across the sands of Africa. I was inspired by the trikes and beach bikes on this site to try to build a trike that can be used as a prime mover to get elderly and...

    Fietscafe

Anyone got plans for one of these!? http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fietscafe That roof in solar panels might create enough power for it to crawl along a beach.
