Got the sucker stripped down today, and started stripping the paint. Had a couple minor hiccups though. Had to drill out the stem bolt, the bolt was really stuck in the wedge nut in the steer tube. And I couldn't get the bolt out of the head set to releive it of the handle bars. That's soaking...

That super sucks! I think more needs to be done about riding bikes on roads. I know we have the bike lane, but here in Jacksonville drivers see the bike lane as extra room to drive on regardless of a rider being in the lane or not. I DO NOT use the bike lanes here for that reason. I use the sidw...

On top of Yooth's 2 x 4 idea, use an old bike rack, and cut it to size. I don't know about you guys, but bike racks are a dime a dozen around here. you could even build one out of wood, or rigid steel plumbing.

Nope... Endor. :) I'm not gonna do a 5 speed, but I was kinda hoping to put a 24x3 on the back and a 26x2.125 on the front and go from there. Unfortunately, while I was disassembling it today, I messed up the cap on the stem. I think It'll end up with a BMX one. Any suggestions?

I have the same issue. I finally decided to rid the bike of the old fenders, and find a suitable baloon fender replacement for it and ride 26 x 2.125. I was kinda bummed when I came to the realization that I would have to get rid of the original fenders, but its extra parts in the parts box now.

I like the vid. I needs me a muscle bike! I think its awesome to see someone else into slot cars. It's been a few years, but My dad and I used to be sponsored by Wizzard running the FLHORA series here in The FLA. Mad props on the T-jets.
