Thanks for all the great info guys. It is indeed a 26er. The frame has braces for peaked fenders, just like my amf roadmaster. Ive torn it down and am regreasing everything, then im gonna motorize it :D

And two more... Monarch 3 speed. Very rusty but cool. Sportster model w/ sturmey archer. Centurion Le Mans. It was just a bare frame I added the wheels. A cool future city bike: bike license expires in 1978 in a city 400 miles away... :D :D

I honestly wouldn't worry about the angle of the carb in your case. The angle does not look extreme enough to affect the carb. I have built 5 of these bikes and many of the carbs on my bikes are at that angle or a greater angle. I would worry more about that carb, the cns carb is full of...

Thats definitely the idle speed adjustment screw when you turn it right it raises the throttle slide, having built 4 of these bikes I can tell you. Turn it right = higher idle turn it left = lower idle. I keep mine unscrewed 3.5 -4.5 turns from all the way closed. Just mess with it you'll get it...

COOL! I have the same AMF bike, but in red. Nice chrome one :D

Its supposed to look like a klein rascal, I think. :roll: The wheels are 24' and they have made the bike look really tiny, and detered any sales! :x Arg

Thanks for all the input guys. I have broken the engine in and the power increase and smoothness of the engine are noticeable. Got the carb all dialed in and that has me +/- 5 mph faster, so pretty good. I will be doing gear and exhaust work in the future, Ill keep you posted.
